$4.00/gallon for what I assume is 87 ethanol at Mystic Marine Fuel in Boston.

Just filled up at mystic marine in Boston last weekend, it is 87 (around $4.00 too), but at least they move a TON of fuel, so the risk of water from the tank is much less. They've always got great prices and often beat some of the gas stations I drive by on my way to the marina!
Mist-Rest where on Moosehead did they have no E fuel? I'll be up there in about a month. (Very jealous you get to spend so much time up there, thinking seriously of getting a place later this year if I can convince the wife!)

Beaver Cove has the only non E-10 fuel that I'm aware of.
The other OTW fuel is at Moosehead Marine Museum, (where the Katahdin is tied up) across the east cove at Big Lake Equipment, Folsom's Air Service has a pump on shore that is also in the east cove by the Warden's Office but I don't know what they are pumping and it's most likely Av Gas. Moose River Store on the Moose River, and just up and across stream from MR at Moosehead Marina. I know Rodger Currier (Currier's Flying Service) had at one time a pump on shore for his sea planes but I don't know if he sells fuel to the public. He may run up to the FBO at the airport now. There is nothing else on the northern 20 miles of the lake.
If you don't know the lake really good get a chart. Lots of unmarked places that eat props and lower units depending on the water level.:(

$5.00 for 89 octane non-ethanol gas in Mamaroneck NY
$4.10 for 93 octane non-ethanol just a few mile east in Ct.
When I left Florida 6 weeks ago it was $5.00 for 93 non-ethanol also

Yes it is red dyed diesel. It is ultra low sulfur diesel just dyed red. You can't get anything else these days. Call you local home heating oil delivery company and ask them if they keep seperate supply tanks for home heating oil and off road diesel. You will find the answer is NO. It is all shitty ultra low sulfur diesel. I wish I could get some 500 ppm sulfure diesel. It is just gone from the market.

Last topped off the Fri before Memmorial day at 4.28/gal for 89 oct. Waiting for another delivery before chking new prices.

I guess many do but I'm loyal to The boat yard. I have a slip and it's a wonderfull place. If i start thinking too much about my fuel bill it sucks the fun out of a day on the water so I just say put it on the account and let my wife pay the bill. I may pay more for gas but it's only 4-14 miles to the Tuna and the Bass are right out front. :thumbsup:
