For Sale, Nice '99 Center Console. The HydraSports 230 Seahorse is said to be 'the biggest 23' ever made'. Hydra Sports measures at the water line, so this 230 rides and fishes like a 25' Center Console. Set up for fishing and family, there is plenty of room to go off shore to the blue water for Sails and Mahi, great to fish the bays or inland lakes for Stripper or Musky, or go inshore for Snapper, Grouper or Kings. She is set up for a comfortable day on the water. Large T-top, plus custom made Sunbrella Fabric shades for the aft deck and front V platform. Equipped with Ship-to-shore VHF, Garmin 498 depth sounder/GPS/Graph, am/fm/cd with Ipod plug, Bennet Trim Tabs with new plumbing and actuators she is ready to go. New binnacle control cables, (both throttle and transmission) installed fall of 2011. Hull gelcoat is in very good shape, nice and shiny.

The 1999 Johnson OceanPro 250 horse power is freshly serviced. New Tune up, de-carbon, lower unit oil and impeller it is a bullet proof powerhouse. Long known as the work horse motor in large outboards, she is estimated to have about 600 hours. Compression is great, (#1-115 , #2-115, #3-115, #4-110, #5-107, #6-108) Very even and runs great. Oil injection is perfect with no fowling of plugs even at trolling speeds. Has the solid transom with the OceanPro mounted on a Stainless Marine 30" bracket so the motor doesn't take up crucial deck/fishing space. She has a 3 blade stainless prop that I run, plus a 4 blade for more torque and a backup prop. The 2003 Honda 4 stroke kicker is a 9.9 hp High Thrust extra long shaft.(25") with electric start and only 43 hours. It is mounted the only way a kicker should be mounted- on a brand new Adventure Marine Bracket, hard wired and plumbed into the main fuel supply. This motor also has just been serviced for the summer season. New plugs, impeller, crank case oil and oil filter, and lower unit oil. Recent carb rebuild insures that this motor is ready to go. Always rinsed after saltwater use, includes salt-away ear muff rinser and salt away. Carburetor bowl drained after use as it should be.

Only ethanol free fuel. Built in tackle box, small cabin in Center Console with self contained head and lots of insulated storage for fish, drinks, bait, etc. Large live well in leaning post base. Sink with wash down, bait station, seawater wash down in transom where you need it. Lots of rocket launchers, rod holders, twin batteries on switch(1 new), 3 gallon oil-injection tank, stainless steel swim ladder/platform with new extendable ladder. She has a few hours on her and there are some minor gel coat star cracks on deck but not structural. There is on small spot near the center console that feels like it is de-laminated. Trying to give you a true description.

The sale includes a 2011 aluminum Venture 7000#GVW tandem axle bunk trailer. Surge disc brakes, custom aluminum alloy wheels. I have towed her from The Chesapeake Bay, to Nashville, to New Orleans and Destin Florida a couple of times. Pulls great with no issues. Tires are in good shape with new spare wheel and tire. Trailer has always been rinsed after saltwater launches. I believe there have only been 4 or 5 since new.

Of course new Coast Guard equipment (Ocean life preservers, flares, etc) last fall, and new lines come with her. Several new skiing/tubing life vest, from infant through adult are also included. This is really a nice rig and will not disappoint. Look around, ask around. HydraSports makes a great product and the Johnson OceanPro speaks for itself. She will run about 46 - 47 mph at 5600 rpms, great cruise speed at about 3200 - 3500 rpms.

PM me for pics, not sure how to get them on THT

That is an amazing price on a great boat. I would think that would be a real fair price without all the great updates/extras you have done

- 1 year old aluminumn trailer
- 4 stroke kicker motor
- built in tackle center
- bow cushions
