Granted I haven't been boating/fishing in southern Maine for long, but the water seems very murky, usually it is extremely clear. Also the temperature is 60 degrees, seems like that is warm for end of May. Also I can't believe how thick it is with bait fish. What is going on?

There is no baitfish according too the NMFS making laws for fisherman. Maybe they missed the memo.
I noticed a big change in lobsters after the earthquake in Japan last year.

Water has been quite warm in recent years, 71 degrees offshore. Water temp 12 miles offshore last sunday was 60 degrees. Mild winters in the northeast and hurricanes moving alot of mild water. Tons of bait and whales and ..........

Migration pattern seemed altered more to the north and shedding timing changed.

I always catch something. It is catching them for a profit that is the tough part:thumbsup: the new regulations make it pretty hard.
