Pulled an idiot stunt this weekend and managed to destroy 2 Yamaha F250 cowlings! If you have one or even two for sale please shoot me a PM with price and condition, or call me at 850-566-3760. They need to fit a 2007 model.

I know they can be redone and you might want to check but I think that the 225 cowlings will work as well. A good fiberglass guy might be able to fix them and I know they want a mint for new ones. Post some pictures, someone might be able to tell you if they can be repaired.

F225 is same cowling. I just repaired couple for someone with 250's & they are same as my 225's. You can use panel bond for repair instead of fiberglass. Much neater & stronger.

The F225 cowling is a inch shorter and wont work with a F250, you can use the 250 cowling on a 225 but not the other way around.

The cowlings are indeed different, and the 250 can be used for the 225 but not the other way. Since I need it for the 250, I can't use one that was built for a 225. Anyone out there got one for sale?

You may want to try Marine Liquidators in Ft. Pierce Fl. I was there recently and saw some hoods for sale.
