Hey , went out to the gssouth reef yesterday and today , yesterday fished southeast corner where everyone ussually goes , caught some short black sea bass, 1 keeper, plenty of sharks. IT WAS REALLY FOGGY . We were the only dumb enough ones out there, couldnt see 1/8 nm out , we saw things on the radar that far but couldnt see them through the fog. Today we fished some tanks around the middle of the reef, plenty of shorts and plenty of bait was stolen .Used clams both days. There was tons of baitfish everywhere too, marked HUGE pods of bait on the fish finder at about 20ft, bunker came and went. THey are there though. Tried anchoring over one good spot, and the bite turned off so i'm pretty sure you wanna be drifting. Wont be out on sunday , goin with the family to the sandbar, MIGHT be out there monday idk .
