Anybody ever use anything like this in their smaller center consoles?

Is it even worth it vs stand up?

Have not used one, but can say that I have had a lot of Birdsall products installed over the years from t-tops to several leaning posts, and everything Birdsall makes is quality - not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Had one in our 26" Albemarle that attached to the leaning post but could be removed by pulling 2 pins. We used it all the time. Worked very well for newbies, and oldies like me.
This one came from Albemarle.

I use a fighting beer chest. It is the right height and is full of beer.

All boats have a cooler....so you might want to have one of these little things:

242804 (http://www.tournamentcable.com/pgs/catsearch.cfm?itemcat=WWU)

242805 (http://www.tournamentcable.com/pgs/catsearch.cfm?itemcat=WWU)

Easy to stow and even easier to use. As you can see, it can also be mounted directly on the cooler.
