My mistake, I just realized yours are the m series, and not the mx. DO they have the classic grill or sport grill? I am very interested.

Last question..do they include the separate dome tweeters?

no they do not have the separate tweeters.

Just an FYI for you or anyone else, Sonic is NOT an an Authorized JL Audio dealer and you will have no warranty whatsoever from JL (they track serial numbers very carefully). On a marine product with 2 years of warranty I think your crazy to not buy authorized....

PS- BOE's site says they are authorized, but they are not on the internet list and when you put their zip code into JL's dealer locator they do not come up so I would double check them as well..

Any JL products we sell are fully warranted. JL does not show any marine retailers on their site until just recently with the addition of West Marine and Overtons. The marine products are their red headed step child, and the dealers are treated accordingly. Equipment bought at Sonic is warranted too. I wish JL tracked serial numbers to see where equipment is coming from but they don't. Its the Wild Wild west with no oversight.

That's interesting because I spoke to JL on the phone yesterday and you guys were getting JL through a distributor without their knowledge. You were not an authorized dealer and certainly not an authorized ONLINE dealer. The list of online dealers are the list of online dealers whether it be Mobile, Marine or Home. You sold products below MAP online, that was the first clue you weren't authorized and also a big reason why you have now been completely cut off. Anything sold through you will have NO JL warranty so please do not rip off forum members.

Now as for the rest of your post, its also completely incorrect. JL Marine is not the red headed step-child and is in fact a VERY large part of JL's business. I was at the factory last week and trust me after hearing the figures they are very focused on it and their ACTUAL AUTHORIZED dealers are very well supported. Equipment bought from Sonic electronics is warrantied through THEM, not JL Audio. It never has been and never will be. They constantly buy products from them in sting operations and trace back the serial numbers to cut off the supplying dealer (trust me I've been involved in one of these "stings" so they are very real).

I really wasn't trying to stir the pot this bad (this was really directed at Sonic), but it upsets me to see forum members buy expensive audio gear thinking they have factory warranty and support only to be let down. I've seen many shocked faces when they are told they are SOL when JL denies their warranty claim due to it being sold through an unauthorized dealer and it really pisses me off.

I've had VERY good experience EVERY time w/ Crutchfield, from your list.
