I have an older Lowrance x125 depth finder that was installed on my boat when I bought it. I am in the market for a gps/charplotter unit. When looking at some of the (older) units I noticed that the inputs on the rear look quite similar to the ones on my depth finder. There are two inputs on the rear. One for power, one for sonar. Does anyone know if any of the Lowrance gps/chartplotter units (likely older models) inputs would be compatible with my current set-up. Essentially making it a plug and play unit. Thinking that all I would have to do is mount the unit, plug in the current power and sonar, and hook up an external antenna. I am ok with settling for a slightly older unit if this means I would not have to tear out my current wiring and transom mounted transducer, and then have to re-wire and re-mount a transducer. If this is possible is there a way to know which gps/finder combo units would be compatible?

Might be worthwhile emailing or calling Lowrance. If you are interested, I have a LCX110C head unit that works perfectly that I will sell at a very reasonable price.
The connections look very similar but I can't tell for sure.

There is another thread on here were a guy did just that. Plugged an HDS into his older power and sonar cables and it worked fine. I think he had the grey cables and just lost the temp reading.
Looks like yours are blue, so you may not have any issues.
