The Ocean Billfish 37 features an innovate twist on a retro style from the 50s. She is a blended balance between and express style boat coupled with a convertible sportfish. She has an upper and lower helm and has an open aft bulkhead. She successfully combines the best of an express allowing for easy communication between the driver and the angler and quick access to and from the cockpit and helm station and still emits the feel and control of a convertible. This is a purposefully built fishing battle wagon and her New Jersey heritage is uncompromising. This is a must see. All offers are encouraged. Do not hesitate to make an offer on this boat!!!

A Better Broker is putting up a lot of nice listings. They take time to put together in a package that would interest a serious buyer. I for one appreciate him posting up here early. If I were seriously interested, I'd pick up the phone and call him to discuss the boat.

Your "buddy" isn't going to buy a $300k boat from pictures anyway, so stop puffing your chest...

You may be right, may be wrong. Depends on perspective. I guess I did the wrong thing sending the link to a friend in the market. ;?

If your handle is "Lazy Bones," I can see why pics wouldn't be posted. LOL.

No hostility intended. I just figured that a guy who called himself "A Better Broker" would post pics with a listing. Guess I expect too much from brokers. My bad, I apologize.

Whose puffing their chest? There is no info on this post that can't be gleaned from the website. No one will buy a boat based on pics, your'e right. It's a 1200 hour boat and pics, even non-professioinal ones can show a chitty boat and keep from wasting both parties' time.

Good listings can prevent wasted time for both people. The price looks attractive. That's why I forwarded it to my " 'buddy.' " I am not a serious buyer. I have zero interest in this style boat, much to my 5 year old daughter's dismay.

So viewing it with your five year old daughter should not be considered wasted time..thats quality time..Buying these type of boats,I suspect the one with the most amount of wasted, non productive time is the Broker due to responding to so many truly non interested people...

A Better Broker, is that hull#1?

looks nice, but I think it's too new to be hull #1. i maybe wrong, but for some reason I think i saw hull number 1 at the AC boat show in Sept 2006.

but my memory maybe getting a little fuzzy. check this out:

http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/f9/ocean-viking-showdown-37-billfish-23331.html

looks like a different boat. anyways i like that boat a lot! i may make a move one day to one.

Great looking boat !!
The design seems to turn a typical bridge boat's salon into nice open space like an express boat, while still giving the crew a huge bridge area for everyone to enjoy together instead of having a tiny bridge like most express boats. Sweet design!

The design was born in the late 1940's and they were termed "dayboats". The only guy building them of recent is Gamefisherman (and of course this hull). My favorite design for a 36-42 flybridge.

Quick question, is there any ventilation in the salon area? The side windows and windshield do not look like they open. I do see something that looks like vents across the back of the windshield in the ceiling.
BTW, love this design.

There is an offer that's been presented, but we are not in contract as of this post as its a little lower than my client desires.... We are waiting to get a few things resolved before my customer commits to the offer on the table. I am not sure that he will or wont at this point.
