We left out of our camp in Myrtle Grove and headed across Barataria Bay through Grand Isle Pass. We headed west towards the Fouchon rigs' the East winds would hit this area later in the day and I knew there was blue water that way via ripcharts. We rolled out 112 miles to the floaters for a few tuna then headed back to find a nice grass line. We picked up 5 wahoo and two small dolphin on the grass line. We hit up a rig in 400 feet of water and deep dropped to pick up a nice warsaw grouper. I took a pic of a nice snapper we caught deep, I cant wait for a few more weeks when snapper season opens. The ride home into a headsea and cross sea was a little bumpy but "SENGO" was still able to manage 45 mph for the ride home in the 3's. Sunday I brought the boat back to New Orleans and cleaned her up, decided to put it in the lake at Bonnebel launch and ran over to Blind River Bar for a lunch and a few laughs. All in all a great weekend on the water. Cant wait for all of the tournement fishing to begin.241845
