I have a BW Dauntless 160 but no live bait well. Only been fishing one year offshore (mainly dead ballyhoo and sardines). Wife is giving me a pass this weekend for my bday so I am starting to put a plan together to go out fishing this weekend. I trailer my boat to the Boca Raton launch and can be offshore in 100' of water in 20 minutes if the ramp isnt too busy. Problem is there isnt alot of live bait around and closest drive is 45 minutes round trip. I was thinking about having live bait delivered to me at the ramp depending on cost. Pilchards or goggle eyes probably. Why not - Its my bday. Questions - How long will the bait live in a bucket with an air supply? Is a dozen sufficient? What's the best way to handle the bait?
