The rifle is a model 85 Springfield 22 produced by the JP Stevens Arms Company. Best I can find is that the rifle was produced between 1939 and 1943. I inherited this rifle when my father passed several years back and just never notice that the magazine was missing. Hopefully some of THT weapons experts can advise me where I can locate and purchase a replacement magazine. Thanks for your feedback in advance.

i have that exact gun, and ordered some mags online for it
they do not quite fit...they don't get the round up high enough for the bolt to feed
so i just have the little 5 round one that was in the gun
if you do find some 10rd ones that fit please post up
here's what i bought

Numrich gun parts has 10-round mags in stock. Check item # 33 in this schematic- appears to be different than the one at ammoclip:

FWIW, I inherited an old Savage .22 bolt action with no clip. The "repro" clip I got from Numrich worked perfectly.
