My uncle was an avid fisherman and when he passed left quite a bit of fishing gear. I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this hand crafted rod. Thanks!

Those rods appear to hand made by someone - likely someone who lived near your uncle when he was fishing. There are literally hundreds of people building rods, maybe thousands, so if you want to find out more about those rods, ask your uncle's wife or maybe his neighbors, or fishing buddies where the rods might have come from.

Looks like a Star Rod.

Agree with RightRigger, it's a Star Rod. Most of my offshore rods are all Star Rods.

My neighbor has a couple of Star rods so I went over and looked at his - and it's 3 votes for Star.

Its a Star Hand Crafted. Looks identical (including the hand written label) to mine. Good rods.
