Hello fellows,

I'm rookie here - and apologize in advance if similar/relevant post is already running...

Well, my Evinrude 90Hp built 2006 (2x stroke) approx 300 operating hours.

An "engine Alarm" appeared on the multi-gauge instrument (BRP) but no slow-down or anything...
The alarm does not appears while engine is running iddle...just when you 'go ahead'...

The authorized Engineer plugged the engine on the Evinrude-diagnosis PC and discover only one alarm referring to "solenoid 34" (I cannot recall the number)...
We changed cables/wiring and also the multi-gauge instrument but no result...

It looks like Alarm is generated either by EMM or its socket...

Cost of EMM is extremely high for this small engine...also no 'tools' (or knowledge) how to check what really goes wrong with the EMM (or whatever else)...
Moreover engine runs smoothly without any problem/hunting or anything...

Any ideas, instructions or similar experience???
Is any possibility to find seconf-hand EMM???
Can EMM be repaired or checked???

Thank you in advance for your kind suport

tks
dkol

When the motor is running and plugged into the PC that is operating the BRP software you should have malfunctioning codes that appear. Could you please let me know what they are.
If you would like a faster response please feel free to give me a call.
