What's everyone's thoughts on fishing this weekend at Morehead. The Hillsboroughsfc tournament was/is scheduled and to me the weather is calming down but just dont know if it will calm down enough for a 23 footer. I know N& NE wind is not good. Just a shame to spend money on wasted trip. Thoughts????

Hey guys, I'm getting word that seas will be in the 3's on Sunday and the Tournament is still on. I looked at one site and weather is still small craft advisory. I think it still too rough, thoughts??? Does anyone know if tournament is really a 100% a go

Terry from the tournament sent me an email that said seas were better and tournament was still on. When I checked, it said 6-9 on sat and 4-6 on sun. I sent email in what place did he see this for I was looking at nation weather service. I sent email to confirm my cancelation. I cancelled on Wednesday originally but was hoping weather to change, so I hope I get my money back. I think they run honest business, so we'll see. I just can't spend all that money to fish in rough seas close to shore

You made the right call, i hate backing out on a tournament too but there aint no point in spending a bunch on tournament fees and going out just to find out you cant get out there or getting your ass kicked on the way out

There's a king tournament week after next in Wrightsville Beach we will try next. Hopefully weather will be better. Does any think our money is lost for canceling.
