This is my first attempt at pictures, I hope it works.
Thanks fellow tht great lakers for your help in picking a surveyor. It is now at South Shore Marina awaiting fresh bottom paint and engine service. I can't wait to get it home and mount the downriggers and rod holders to chase the Lake Michigan kings.240761

Net, Congrats on the purchase. Very Solid Boat. I looked at several Hydra Sports before I bought mine but could not get the right deal in my price range. I have been out on a few Hydra Sports around florida and for the layout, design, craftmenship, price and ride I think it is one of the best boats for the money. They have been around Florida for years and are not hard to find there and it finally seems they are making there way up north. Great boat for the great lakes and I wish you many happy years of pleasure on your new boat. You should be able to scoot with those 250's hanging off the back. Nice, nice ride. Love the color. MAN! wish I could have found one in my range!
Next question is why doesn't Hydra-Sports have a dealer in the Great Lakes Region. They are really missing out on a great piece of the market. Prior to me purchasing my W/A, I built a boat on their site sent it to the nearest dealer outside Chicago and never heard a word about the request. (I was willing to go smaller for a new H/S) Then I went on the dealers website and they had no mention that they even sold Hydra Sports and only dealt with the mastercraft line. If someone from H/S reads this, we need a dealer here. I think I saw that one parked over at SSM last thursday when I drove by

Thanks for all the kind words. And yes, she will really run. On the sea trial with 4 adults and 1/2 tank fuel (176 gal total) we hit just over 50mph. I'm not a speed demon, but its nice to know its there if I ever need it.
Crank, SSM had one for sale same year, color, and options only it had more than twice the hours. They got it in the week after I started the process with this one. Steve and I talked several times about both boats. That one now is sale pending. If you find one, you have to move fast. I also agree someone should start up a H-S dealership or at least add the line to an existing marina. They are a great boat for our waters.
