In your third picture is a 62 foot Bert "Seatox" ..... I have had the pleasure of fishing on her on several occasions. I've even run her from the tower. She is truly an amazing boat

schmaltz - In your last pic I noticed the bumper tied to a pole in the rod holder. Is that a homemade rig or something you purchased? Looks useful and easy to make with a piece of PVC.

If you want the commercial version try Cleatit.com it's an inexpensive but handy item, been using them for a while and it makes docking a cinch with fenders.

About 18" of 3/4 pvc with a nice cap and a 1/2" hole drilled thru, tie lines move fenders around where needed, works great, about $8.00 in costs for a 10' section of pvc & caps.

yeah, i have used home made pvc pieces before. (and it wouldnt cost me anything because I have tons of pvc lying around). but i can't get myself to do it these days, yet i am too cheap to buy the fancy welded pieces. these pieces priced right in the middle will do just fine.

Joey, you're looking at it the wrong way bud! I'm making you money. Just make one of your killer vids of them in use and sell it back to them as marketing material!

All kidding aside, they are very handy and have been holding up well.

Funny to see that boat. I stumbled upon a SeaTox long sleeve performance t-shirt at the Jupiter Good Will next to the ABC. I ended up buying it. Great Deal and nice boat.

Great Pictures of great boats.....and to think it will get better with the season coming! Can't wait..... I have been thinking of doing a weekend up the ditch from Miami just to see boats. Next bad weather window I am doing it....thanks for sharing.

I visited with Mike Rybovich during the Lauderdale show. The boat with the gold eagle on the side of the bridge is the former MISS BUDWEISER, hull #49, a 50' 1961 Rybovich. FLEETWOOD up on the hard is a Mark Willis. The boat in the lift facing the photographer is CHARMER, a 32' Rybovich walk-around.

Astounding to me how great that boat still looks, being over 50 years old.

In your first few pictures, why are there so many boats on the hard? Was that in anticipation of Sandy?

Larry Mullins in palm beach has a new 30' whiticar that's very similar. It's listed on yacht world. CHARMER can be seen on the registry list at michaelrybovichandsons.com

It is. What a great name for that boat, huh? Too bad they stopped building boats.

You can also use a wood dowel. Much cheaper and quicker to make. Cut dowel. round over edges and attach line of the proper length to the top.

Looks like a mini L&H. Would love to own a little dayboat like that, but it's not really conducive to the climate where I live/boat.

anybody know the name of the straight-sheer Rybo in the second picture of Michael's yard? I think it's a Rybo as I've never seen a Merritt with a non-teak bulkhead.

it's GRIFFIN (originally HEAVEN LEE). Built in 1995 just prior to FONDANA. Two of the very few straight-sheer Rybos built by Michael under the RYCO name.

I've seen Sarah Beth, the 108' Burger in the pics in the islands quite often; absolutely stunning up close. There are usually 3 flats boats on the bow and I think the little Whiticar belongs to the owner as well, sometimes towed behind.

3 on the bow? :o Only because 1 is not enough! :Q

MUST BE NICE! All it takes is money.

Thought I'd follow up on this thread w/ a few photos I took on the ICW today. Lots of activity at Rybovich in Riviera Beach. New floating dry dock and the size of the yachts keeps getting bigger. Not sure who owns "ACE" or who built it but it is definitely "something else". Also took a few photos of the Michael Rybovich yard in North Palm. Some updating over the last few months. I also added a photo showing the clarity my new EZ2CY enclosure. :)

Michael has built a few straight-shear boats. In my humble opinion they are prettier than the original design.

Mark, I'm sure it's been suggested, but your sig gives too much credit to someone else for your boat. it's a GCC custom, not a Carolina!
