I talked to him last week, got some jigs from him. Few weeks ago he made me some other lures and he called me and said wait to you see what I made you.

It is a huge teaser made out of black / purple 8" squid with a bigger squid at the end with a hook. Must be 60" long.

He just made it and threw it in there. It will be in the water next trip.

Miss ya buddy,

Butch

Very sad indeed - so young, too. :(

I've been around the forum for a few years and often have a mental picture of what a lot of the folks on here "look like", though probably totally inaccurate.

Always sad when you get news like this, even when you've never met the person. :(

My very best to the family and friends. RIP Tim.

Made it to Tims memorial and had the pleasure of meeting some great people [ Friends and Family ] Tim was truly loved by many and their thoughts are the same as mine ...A Great guy with a POSITIVE attitude. A good Husband, Father, Son, Uncle and not to mention Fisherman.
Tims Parents drove in from Oregon , 2200 miles and had to head home Sunday at 7AM, pray for them for a SAFE trip home and the health of their grand baby that is being released Monday from the Hospital.
I will be back to Tim and Babettes on June 9th on my way to Venice La. I will Drop off the gift from ALL of you and pick up Tim to take his ashes to the coast for a burial at sea.
Another forum member, w5it, will be with me for the week [ 10th to 16th ] in Venice and we will take care of Tims wishes .
If ANY members would like to come along or meet us on the water just let me know.
