I haven't missed this show since it's birth 4 years ago. It's held at South Jersey Marina in Cape May harbor.
This year the name was changed to 'Strictly Boaters' (for whatever reason) but otherwise it was similar to other years.

It is, by design, a small show that caters to saltwater sportfishers. A couple engine builders were on display, and an insurance company. Not a single ShamWow or Purple Cleaner in sight. I like that. I saw everything twice and spent maybe 3 hours; no crowd at all.
Here's some pics from last Friday:

Some nice battlewagons:

Here's a little 24 foot Everglades CC. Nice boat with a lot of nice details but WOW the price seemed excessive! The special "Show Price" was something like $89K....:o.

Then of course, the obligitory cut-in-half Whaler:

For the dreamers, how 'bout these Hinkleys. Price?? Not displayed, so I guess if you have to ask, don't bother!!
Simply breathtaking, but I'll bet they won't be seeing much fish blood:

In all, it was good show done right- by people who are focused on BOATS, not trinkets or non-boating accessories.
See you next year!
