I recently bought a 59 whaler sport in restorable condition,I hope. My latest challange is locating where the wires come out of the hull for the navigation lights at the console. The bow light is there with visable wires going into the hull and the same at the stern. The console also has a spot for a toggle switch but there is no sign of wires or any evidence of an electrical connection. Anyone?

Boston Whaler ran the wires behind the rub rail...
I don't think thats the case with the really old ones. I believe they were run though the hull, with the foam around them. Which equates to them being a permanent part of the boat. To rewire the lights, you'll need to run them through the rub rail like they were done later in production.

Just be careful, they are a little more snooty over on those sites...
