I spend most of my time on here but will occasionally browse the Florida Sportsman and Capt Mel forums. I usually post up a trip report here.
I know there are several local members and it would be nice to see the reports increase here.
As for the hot spots, I derive them from being on the water, info posted in reports( fish were caught in 120', 75', etc), keeping a log book, or people I have built a network with telling me to go to this spot or that spot.

Yeah, but I only have one spot saved in my GPS as HELL. No wonder why it seems fished out:grin:

if you are planning in staying in the bay, the docks behind the houses on the St. Pete side between Old Northeast and Weedon Island are always good for something. Those spots are the bread and butter for a lot of the light tackle charter guys.
