Finnegans has awesome food. A true Irish pub.
Also try Jack Flats on Duval. I'm pretty sure they have Guiness. Sports bar with good food.
If you just want good beer, go to The Porch. corner of Duval and Carolina, across from The Bull and Whistle.

actually, the PT's turned Fast Buck Freddies is now another sports bar called JD's (i think). I haven't been there yet, but haven't heard anything bad about it.
as a side note, Fast Buck Freddies on Duval is closing for good.

I wish I could help you but I don't recall ever eating in key west.
Just cold liquid nutrition.
Try alonzos raw bar overlooking the marina. They've got a great spicy conch ceviche and Mahi BLT.

Thanks everybody, we ate at Louies back yard & it was great. Tomorrow for lunch at Finnegans & tomorrow night at lattitudes on the Westin's island resort & then off to palm Beach. No clue there either fishing or eating.
If you come to the jersey shore I'LL give you some great ideas.

Second that! Either thier Sub with Hogfish, sauteed mushrooms, onions ad peppers toped with melted swiss or Blackened Hogfish with fresh Gulf shrimp:grin: Fritters a re pretty good also.
