Hi THT's, I need some help. Im in the process of negociating with the owner of a 1996 Proline 2950 (my first boat) with twin Mariner 225 (1998) A/C, VHF, GPS all navigation required equipment. What should I look for (beside a survey) what would be a good price for a boat of this year. no trailer is included.
Thanks in advance for your coments and suggestions.

Had a '93 2950 for about 6 years. Loved the boat and versatility. But I'd be a little concerned with those engines, only because mine had Yamaha 250's and i always felt underpowered especially with full load. Fuel economy sucked as well. Maybe the Mariners will do you ok, just give it a good seatrial  Good Luck!

Have you sea trialed it yet?
Do you fish offshore?
I had a 95,with twin 200,s,a little underpowered,but not bad.
They seem to be top heavey, and will lean, when side to with winds about 15 knts....To me,a bad performer for offshore, except when it is know more than 2-3s'.....It did have a lot of room, and storage, and an all around pretty good boat....just not crazy about the ride....YMMV.

Thanks for the coments and sorry for the delay, I did not go with the Proline, I was not really happy with what I saw last time so went another route.
Thanks anyway!
