Hi guys I will be heading out of Haulover Inlet on Thursday the 24th at sunup and was wondering if anyone else had plans to leave that morning weather permitting of course.
Staying at Bimini Beach Club. First time would like to go with a buddy boat. Cruising about 35 mph. Thanks

I have heard this weekend is when all the yahoos are out there. Is it worth it for a first timer?

You should wait a week if possible, the island will be much quieter after the 29th.

Wouldn't recommend the beach club unless you know the area qjui9te well. Also the docks are a mess. Now the club itself can be enjoyable and it also has a pool. Bimini Sands is the best place on the South island. I am sure it cost more than the beach club but it has floating docks, water, wi-fi, restuarant , laundry facilities and a ships store. Spent a few weeks in April on the South island. Had a house rental with dock for a week of it and used Bimini Sands otherwise. Either way enjoy yourself and wish I was going back with you.:)

Thanks for the info, I tried Bimini Sands but it was booked, I am meeting some people that have a place there so they know the island quite well. I just need a place to dock the boat.

B Club is used when B Sands is full. Make sure to get there with some daylight, some of the slips have debris in them so be careful. Pretty run down but sometimes it is the only option.

Dock has to be booked direct with Bimini Sands Marina, some condo units at discount direct by owner.
For any future bookings at Bimini Sands check out rental calender first ( scroll down )
