Hang in there. I too have been looking at 31 Contenders in a little cheaper price range than you and willing to take 2 strokes. Problem I see is most sellers are not realistic on their prices given the hours on the motors and or years of the hull and how they are outfitted. They are banking on the brand name to keep the price up. If I find anything up in your price range I will pass it your way.

Guy, my buddy Paul is buying your 27. There is a 31 close to me for sale. It does have ox66's, but the price is good enough to probally fit your budget with new f250's. He's asking $40k, but when I asked about his bottom line, I was told to make an offer. Take it for what you will. The boats at Collins marine in smithfield, nc.

Yes, All brand new electronics are going in it now... It's all in the link I posted above. The boat has been completely gone over and re-wired. Everything electrical is brand new.

Why didn't you buy it? What's wrong with it to keep it on the market so long? Is it the 225's?

The reason I didnt buy it was it was out of my price range at the time for one....... also I was looking for a 31' Contender with F250's for 2....I hear that the F225's are ok for that size boat, but F250-F300 are the way to go.... and for three it was further than I was willing to travel to actually take a look at it.

Looks really clean though other than that.....the only thing I could see that it may would need is some upgraded electronics, but thats more a matter of opinion.

Yea, ive seen it on boat trader but im loking for 250's. Pharm, you got finished pictures on urs yet?

Not yet, I have 2 guys coming monday to finish up the install on all of the electronics...... Hopefully I can get it cleaned up and get some shots of it by the end of the week. Will be dropping the leaning post and forward console cushions off to my local canvas lady to get recovered.

Send me a pm with the contact info of georges old 31 if you have it. I know the boat in fact George and I were going to do a trade / cash deal but the timing was against me. George has my old 25 in the shop rigging the motor now. I too am waiting to see some pics. I miss it. I'm glad he bought it he is a nice guy.
