I know these posts annoy the heck out of some people, but I think I've given enough good advice on here to get a pass on this one.
My trailer is literally falling apart. I have shopped out new trailers, just the way I want them (torsion axles, dual stainless steel disc brakes, etc.) and haven't found anything legit under $4000 - just not worth it.
So I've been looking on craigslist, found this:
http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/3001932952.html
I'm assuming brakes are nickle cadmium, but I can always replace down the line or even replace now and sell the old brake kit - I really want the D-Maxx SS brakes. Has torsion axles and brakes on both axles.
Guy says he got it with a 22 Century W/A, he lost his job, had to decide between the house or the boat, etc. Says it's been in the water 8 times. I was thinking of going down there and if it looks as good there as it does in the pictures, offering him $2000 for it - does that seem like a good deal for me, should I offer less, should I settle for more? What does the Hull Truth sayeth?
