For all you blue water seekers in the southern part of the state, our annual Far Out Shootout tuna/dolphin/wahoo tournament begins this weekend out of the Ocean Isle Fishing Center. This event has been going on since the mid 90's and is always a great bragging rights tournament with a nice paycheck to boot for those who do well. It's peak season for bluewater fishing off our coast so come join us for the festivities and great fishing. We're loaded for bear at the Fishing Center, so if you need any gear we have you covered.

Hey Capt. Brant...fished w/ you guys several times at OIFC. Was wondering if you were filling any spots on your OIFC boats for Saturday with charters? Would love to get out to the stream on Saturday but having a hard time finding someone to split a charter and don't see any make up charters available either. Please let me know.
Thanks!
