Thinking about a place on the North Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake (St Michael, Tilghman Island, Cambridge, etc) for a week or two second half of November. Would be just me and I am not looking for any particular bells or whistles. Once, a lifetime ago, I planned to live for a year in Rome, Italy and then a year on the Chesapeake. Well, went to Italy for that year in 1982 and it's now 30 years I have been in Rome and I will be retiring end November. Don't want to leave my family in Italy alone for too long, but I have the excuse of my mom in a retirement community in Columbia, MD so, I thought I could try to fill in the Chesapeake experience. Hang out, figure out some way to fish a bit, relax and soak up the water environment.
Anyone have a summer place they want to rent me or suggestions for a reasonable option - I guess a week or two in a Bed & Breakfast would be ok but it would probably be a little too "cute" and pricey too. All suggestions welcome (and yes, I have Googled a million sites before posting here).

Unfortunately, not a lot of fishing will be going up during that time unless you fish in the bay at the southern end of Dorchester County. You can book a charter out of Hooper's Island and should be able to catch some big rockfish. If you enjoy hunting, Either waterfowl or deer season starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
