Does anyone know whats wrong or are they going to fix the buoy where we can get info from it? I like to see wave heights, wind and water temps.

It is scheduled for repair this June but it was also scheduled last month and they pushed the date. Not sure what is going on. You can use the Hatteras Coast Guard bouy to get wind data. Thats all I look at anyway.

The Diamond Shoals lighthouse is up for sale. You can buy it if you want. It is not going to be fixed. Go to the real estate section.

Carolina triton, try the web site Wind Finder, put in Diamond Shoals for the location. This site gives great details and I think you will like it.

I suspect he's asking about NDBC Station 41025. I think the light tower has been out of service for some time ... ;)
