I need a new trailer hub so how do you measure or
tell someone what size do I need?

You want to measure the inside diameter of the bearings or if you can read them just get the number off of them. Most trailers use a standard 4.06" length hub, but there are some that use 3.5" "shorty" hubs. With the bearing information and hub length you should have everything you need, give us a call if you need any assistance.
