Yesterday (Saturday April 28) I took a quick trip with the GF to Cuttyhunk on the Regulator. Forecast wasn't great but the seas weren't bad coming out of Westport Harbor.. Wind picked up considerably when I was out there and the trip back was pretty terrible. She wasn't pleased! Boat performed flawlessly and I saw 2.2mpg on the way out with a good tail wind.
Fun to see cuttyhunk with no boats, save for a few commercial boats, and the ferry.

She should be happy that she was ON a Regulator. Imagine that ride on a Grady, Parker, Searay....

Thanks for the comments.. Hope to see several of you out there soon!
I didn't bring a rod but I wish I had.. When I was washing the boat there were bass jumping around my mooring in Westport. Likely a bit small. There was one boat out fishing off of horseneck beach and a couple sailboats headed into Buzzards Bay when I was returning to Westport. Otherwise not much action out there.
Thanks Drew -- I'll email you this afternoon.

Thanks for the pics. We will be out at Cuttyhunk for a week in August. It has to be one of the best places on the East Coast!

Nice pics. I fish out of Westport myself and had the mrs. out on a similar trip last year. She had no fun. Bet it was cold, wet and rough on the way back on Saturday. Dont know why the women dont like it.

Very clean looking boat! I would take a little bit of salt spray any day on that boat. Beats sitting on the beach in my opinion!
