Recently moved to Raleigh from South Florida. Looking for someone to go offshore fishing with. I will bring my boat up soon. Would like to meet some guys to show me the ropes in the Outer banks. Have Rods, Reels and gas money.

Warbird....shoot me a pm I have a spot on the boat regularly and am a south Florida native myself who has been gone for 25 yrs. I keep a boat in Wanchese and fish pretty regularly

In2fowl usually gets on the fish so he could help you out. I usually have a spot as well from time to time. NC fishing is a lot different from Florida. Welcome to NC

From the gulf coast of Florida. Fishing here inshore is completely different as well. Also looking to get out offshore so if you guys have an extra spot on your boats sometime I'd love to join.

WB, also check out Raleigh Saltwater Sportfishing Club. When I was there it was a pretty good group of guys. That was 8 years ago though.

I sent the president an email probably three weeks ago and never got a response...
I moved to Raleigh about 6 months ago and am just now starting to figure where to fish. I'm from Tallahassee originally. Fished inshore and offshore in the Gulf. I'd be down to go offshore with you too when you get your boat up here. I have a 17 cc so I'm gathering inshore research myself.

The first time I just showed up at a meeting. Back then (I assume now also) it was easy getting to know folks.
I checked their website and see they are still meeting at the University Club, although they need to update their speaker info.
