Took a ride down by the Kernwood bridge today and was pleased to see that a dock was in next to the launching ramp next to the bridge. The lack of a dock was the reason I never used that ramp but I'me sure I'll use it this year.
Does anyone know if the ramp in Danversport is ever going to have a dock?

Gerry, My guess is no. I used Danvers for about 3-4 years up until the new Salem ramp opened.

No issues over in Salem at all...great ramp. They have a seperate dock w/ freshwater washdown too. Video cameras and opened 24hours/7days...well lit. Great h2o depth even at low tide. Since it opened that's the only ramp I use.

I never even knew about that ramp! I usually launch from the one on Winter Island. Any idea if the docks are in yet?

At Popes Landing? I saw one off to the left of the ramp but no dock paraleling the ramp itself.

Lucky Duck the ramp in Salem is on the Salem side of Kernwood Bridge. Its just before Kernwood
Country Club.

.

Correct...there is not a dock paralleling the ramp. When you launch the boat you need to be ready to drive the boat to the other dock. Choice between Danvers/Salem...Salem is the best. Why deal with a 20 minute ride on the Danvers R. if you dont have to...
