I have a poly fuel cell and there is a small pin hole right beside the vent hose fitting. You cant really see it but during a pressure test you can hear it. My question is can this be fixed short of replacing the tank? Can it be plastic welded or sealed(permanently). I just installed the tank and ran all new wiring and PVC above it. Really hate to have to pull it now.:(

You could get some fuel resistant sealant and put a self drilling screw in it.
There might be better options

You should be able to weld it.

A little work with a soldering gun will fix it.(to melt the plastic, not solder it)

See if the new West Marine adhesive made for plastics works. Just give Gougeon Bros a call and they can tell you.
They came up with this because their epoxy does not stick-i believe in the commercial they cut a kayak in two, glued it and launched it.
