Northeast - Free Boat show this weekend on Long island

Fri sat and sunday at the surfside 3 exhibition center in lindenhurst on wellwood Ave.

Also another FREE one at the Sunset Harbor Marina in East Patchogue (the old Dockside 500 marina). 50+ vendors attending.....

I don't have the flyer for Sunset harbors show, but appartenly a pretty big show this year, 50+ vendors, lots of advertising in all the newpapers and on WBLI radio (and a few others). Lots of giveaways, rafles...

Surfside 3 is also supposed to be a pretty large show with 50+ vendors. I havent heard anything about this other show at sunset?? Kind of wish I knew maybe we would have got a booth there too.

Its ok. Its not my show. I didnt organize it so it doesnt offend me.

If it were me and I really wanted to go, I would park down the street and walk. You dont have to pay the $10.00 to go to the show. Its just if you want to park there. They arent really misleading. It is still a free show. The one at nassau not only do they charge you admission but they charge you parking also. But I see where you are coming from.

The one at Sunset Harbor is Free, and Free parking!!! ;) And "Machria" is docked right in the middle of it, although I'll be fishing Sat monring... but should be back sometime during the show (with no fish I'm sure!! ;) ).

Pretty face, email Sunset harbor, can do a free both, I'm sure they would let you in... Emailed you the email address.

I honestly have to apologize to anyone that came to this show because of my post. It was the worst show I have ever done. Not to mention I got injured from a divider falling down onto my shoulder from the wind blowing!
I had NO Idea that they just changed the parking in the last week to $10 after advertising free! I know of about 30 cars that turned away from the show because of that. I agree that was sneaky and we dont associate ourselves with people like that. We got taken! I was led to beleive this show was something different than it turned out. I mean hey it happens but it wont happen again!
Also all the vendors paid $450 a booth and somehow I got charged $650. What a rip off. There were about 20 vendors there and thats being kind. We sold NOTHING. I felt bad for anyone that paid to get into that show. I would have demanded my money back.

Sad to hear the Marine Max show sucked. I was going to drop by for a short time Saturday, but thought $10 for parking was a rip-off for what is just a dealer in-house show.

My mistake - I saw the address, which was a MarineMax loaction (I guess until this year), and thought it was their show.
