A few weeks ago I had a small mishap, discussed here
http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum/416992-hurts-every-time-pull-out-another-couple-ks.html
2450CC stepped up and assisted me with getting the motor back up and running in a very short period at at VERY "screaming" price
I did file a claim with my insurance company and as you can imagine on a 12yr old 2 stroke Johnson 225 with depreciation and deductible..you get the picture. I will say Seaworthy (subsidiary of GEICO, along with BoatUS and a number of other Berkshire-Hathaway Co's) was prompt, accepting and upfront with the entire process Including quickly responsive to getting me a check. Nothing spectacular, but fair
Needless to say, I will be back on the water this weekend, well, tomorrow if I could..silly work getting in the way of chasing Specks
2450CC was great with shipping, packaging and communication. Even following up asking if I had installed it already.
It was gray when received so I needed a bit of clean, prep, prime and paint to match. I took the time and did it correctly over a few days (I am a Factory Rep for a Paint Co, so I better :) )
as received after a bit of cleaning and scuff sand

Primed with Zinc Chromate primer

Painted

I dropped the destroyed Lower and the new off at the shop yesterday morning and got a call today saying it was ready after shifter and shaft swap, new water pump and pressure test
Installed

Once again, my great thanks and appreciation to a forum member, I hope I am able to pass on the kindness to another in the future. If I lived closer to Boston, I'd certainly be visiting for a personal Thank you.
Thank you Sir
