Yep, they're high security roadies.

A buddy of mine traveled with Kid Rock a few summers back and from what I heard the roadies get more tail than the rock stars... at least on that tour.

Yeah, it makes a lot of sense... The Rock Star (or Politician) are magnates for groupie chicks... Only one or two can bang "the Guy" that night -- so the other dudes in the entourage (roadies and secret service alike) score left and right, with the rest of the ladies.
