I have a Humminbird 797 with SI sonar transducer on my transom. My new Lawrence HDS7 came with a 83/200 transom mount transducer. I know that the Humminbird has both of those frequencies, and one more i.e. 200/83/455 kHz. Will I have an issue with interference using both units at the same time?

If you are using both units at the same frequency there is a good chance for random interference.

Thanks semperfi, I suspected as much and unfortunately did not think of that when I purchased the BB unit.

You can just set each on a different freq.

I was not sure if that would clear things up as I was uncertain if both frequencies were powered up even though you are using just one. That makes me feel much better, I don't mind drilling the holes in the boat now. Thanks again for your suggestions my friend.
