Can anyone recommend a good sportfishing charter around the David area for mid-July? Thanks.

There are no true charterboats available, but I could probabaly set you up with a boat out of one of the fishing lodges in that area since it is not the busy season and they would have availability. Panama Sportfishing Lodge is around 1 hour away from David.

If you want to stay a week, look at http://www.pescapanama.com/
I've fished with them twice. It's best with a group of 4 or more guys. July won't have bill fish, but you may have Tuna. Inshore will have Rooster and some bottom dwellers.

Thanks for the info. We will be traveling down for the last two weeks in July to scout the area and look at property. Once I finalize our schedule, I'll make our fishing reservation. Thanks again for the help.
