I am looking for a 19' Cape to replace the 2000 model 17 footer I currently own. I am not sure when Fabbro went from the aluminum fuel cells to the poly, but it would be a big plus on an older hull to have had that $3,000 repair done in advance. I don't really have a specific dollar amount in mind, I will evaluate each boat on its individual merits. I would also not be opposed to looking at hulls in need of new power. Thanks and hope all are enjoying calm seas.

$3000?

If you take it back to the factory (Milton Florida), it will cost you $3,000 to have the factory aluminum fuel tank replaced with the poly-fuel cell. It has to be cut out of the floor, and glassed in (hence the price).

I have seen this boat on Craigslist, and it is a little rougher (no disrespect intended) than I would like. On a side note, isn't 200 horses max for that hull? Your ad says it has a 250 HPDI. Just wondering. Thanks for responding.
