Looks great...Rub rail looks really nice as well. Interested to find out how the armstrong bracket works out with the 21. Interested in doing to the same one day

Looks "better than new". I didn't see if you had posted another thread on the entire project, so I apologize if it sounds ignorant (and I'm not a Mako guy). So you closed off the transom and put the bracket on (I assume)? That should make the cockpit feel big(ger)!

In the pics, your cabling harness looks short. Is it fine when you swing the helm?

I did close in the transom and attach the bracket. I also replaced all the wood trim with starboard and painted the boat with awlgrip. The helm is working perfect..

That looks really nice.

Now go ahead and put one small scratch on it so you will quit worrying about getting one, and be able to enjoy your new boat. (been there, done that..)

Not a Mako guy and this might already be intended in your comment, but..

"Makover" would be a good name for this boat.
