I'm headed to destin today to fish this weekend and I wanted to see if anyone had any public numbers to run to for grouper. I'm taking my 11 year old and I would like to put him on some fish. Any help would be great!

Go to half hitch and get their wreck map. Good stuff. Also while running, keep a close eye on your bottom finder...there is tons of good bottom out there and you will fond piles of fish just watching it. As for people giving up there #s, I've found after fishing down here a few years they would be more likely to give up a child haha. I've fished public stuff with good success and found some good bottom spots off the map watching my sounder. Good luck!

I will hit the halfhitch tomorrow. Thanks for the help. I can understand not giving up personal numbers.

I took your advice and tried a couple of those numbers from the site. We didn't have much luck today but were headed back out tomorrow to try again! Thanks for the tip

Don't give up too easily. I usually mark the numbers to navigate too, then keep the plotter coord's engaged for distance display and circle out a couple of hundred feet or so of the mark. Some of these things move with storms and currents. Some are mis-marked by a bit....I'm sure accidentally... ;?

But in the end they're usually there. ;)
