I'm looking for a painter to paint the name of my boat on the transom and maybe some stripping as well.

Why dont you have someone die-cut whatever design/lettering you want and affix that...more accurate, better looking and easier to remove/replace if necessary....just my $0.02

Have done that in the past. The decals tend to fade and some have even peeled up.
I had a good artist paint my last boat and the results were far superior to decals. Unfortunately my guy has a lot of work lined up right now and doesn't have time for my "little job".

thanks the airbrush artist is from panama city where he airbrushed for glasstream, they airbrush all there boats instead of viynl decals so he has alot of experience doing it check out there webpage for more pics of his work glasstream.com
