Northeast - List Of Fishing Tournaments

Im trying to compile a list of tournaments for this summer that i would have a shot at competing in. Please chime in with any you can think of. So far I have:

personally i only do the FHA, i want to find striper and fluke tournys. thats what i mainly target on my boat.

There are a couple of local tournaments in the Boston area.

There's the Boston Harbor Striper Shootout run by Pete Santini from Fishing Finatics. There's also a smaller tournament run out of Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina in East Boston.

I try to participate in both of these every year.

Block Island Striper Tourney not sure of the dates there are a few this year think Claudios is doing one too

Does anyone have more info on the hyannis shark tourny? I did it 2 years ago and they didnt have one last year? I see now they have a multi day tourny and one in sept too? Thanks

The only problem I have with the shark tournys is that there is a ton of cheating going on each year. Guys getting sharks from the dragger boats ect some get caught some dont there have been a few guys ive heard of doing multi boat fishing the guys in the tourney come and go when they are supposed to but have another boat fishing the slick while they are back in port.

That being said I still enter each year lol
