Post up your opening day photos here. Baltimore's first game is Friday. We are hoping for a competitive ball club this year that goes .500.

I'm an O's fan and I think a .500 would be a miracle. Their Over/Under for wins on the season is 70 and I heard a so called "expert" choose the Under the other day. His argument was that, even though Baltimore has gotten better, the division is just too good and the schedule this year has them playing more games in division than usual.:mad:

Lively,
When one plays in a division with the Yanks, Red Sox, Rays...well, that makes the Blue Jays and the Orioles the odd men out...:o

My White Sox start against the Rangers tomorrow. May as well get tested right out the gate!:thumbsup:

Orioles swept their opening series. Yanks come to town after the Rays having their way with them. They are likely itching to take it out on Balt. and a much better team than the Twins.

Here is a shot of Opening day at Camden Yards. Our suite is usually on the first base side but were moved to the 3rd base side to accomodate opening day.. The ball park that brought the old-school ballparks back to MLB! (it was the 20th anniv of Oriole Park at Camden Yards)

I pretty much haven't watched the O's since 1997. Since Angelos fired Davey Johnson, its been a long list of Yes Men as "Manager" to Angelos and his sons. And its shown. Which is sad considering I grew up at Memorial Stadium watching the 70s and 80s O's and Colts.

The O's are in First place every year until May! I'm hoping that Boston and NYY are not the usual powerhouses and the O's can compete with TB.

Hope to get to Camden soon. will watch the game tonight.

I am hoping the O's can get to .500 this year. Their div is tough. In addition to the Yanks, BoSox and Rays, the Blue Jays are a very good team too.

I grew up a Phillies fan as I grew up outside of Philly. However, I have been in MD 15 years now and have grown to love the Os despite the years of losing seasons. Last year I got to about 10 games and it is on our TV at home almost everynight. I hope to get to about the same this year

I saw former Oriole, Luke Scott, had a great game against the Yanks Sat night. I dont know why Balt let him go as he was the last O to go 3 straight years with over 20hr's. Other than being hurt last year, he was consistant power for the O's. (Besides he is a big hunter and fisherman)

The AL east does look a little funky right now, standings wise.

My Sox? I'll be realistic, I ain't holding my breath. But the Rays? They DO have the pitching, but the bullpen...? If Longoria, Scott, Pena have good years, hell, who would need a bullpen?:o

I went to bed at the end of the 8th when the O's again stranded base runners with Andino watching strike 3 fastball down the middle. They had bases loaded twice earlier in the game and failed to put runs up.. I kicked myself when I got up and checked the score for not staying up. We knew that the AL East was going to be solid against this year, but would you have thought that if the season ended today that three AL East teams would be in the playoffs? many might have said yes, but if you had told them that the Yankees and Red Sox would not be part of that group, they would have asked you what you were smoking? I think they would have said the same thing if you had told them that the Phillies would be in the basement in the NL East after 30 games and the Nationals would be on top.

Last night was ugly! I wasnt a fan of starting a pitched just picked up. They tend to never win based on not working with the catcher. However, glad to see the young Zach Britton got the job done today to take 3 of 4.

We always park in lot c because that is where our company's suite parking passes are for. It is a great lot between Raven's stadium and Oriole Park. After the game it spits you out onto Balt/Wash Parkway if you need to head south.

I grew up in the Philly and am pulling for them as my boyhood team.... I think there are some teams in the NL who would not want to see them in the playoffs given their starting pitching staff. They do need to score runs in the Playoffs though. You need at least one run to win.
