Gulf Coast - weekend advice for tuna

This last weekend we went on an overnight trip in in our boat. we left saturday morning and headed out to brutus. The weather was poor. we trolled around brutus, genesis, and front runner with out a strike. We went to atlantis for the night which is 130mi out. we caught 7 yellowfin and a ton of blackfin at atlantis. No monster yellowfin, but we are still searching. Any recent reports of big tuna out of venice, Grand isle, or Fourchon?

We spent the night at the Lump last weekend and did ok. Lots of blackfin, yellows didn't show up till the morning. Some friend slayed them at the Lump thursday. Both times the water was green. Clear and green.
Went back this saturday, got there around 8. Water looked like crap. Might as well have been in the middle of the river. Cleaner water was about 15 or 20 feet down. There were about 15 boats there till around 10. Everybody left. I did not see a single boat hook up. We left around 1030 and bounced some rigs.
Hopefully the good water will be back for Thursday or Friday.

Plently of nice fish have been coming from Thunderhorse MC 778. My uncle runs a supply boat and was out there a week ago Sunday, he called me from the boat and told me there were several boats out there givin some really nice fish a free gaff ride.....

most of the fish are small right now,they'll grow up pretty fast, we caught 11yf in about 40 min this weekend, all 30lb fish but alot of them..saw some nicer ones mixed in
