I have the Galaxy captivate and liked it a lot... some thing are kind of anoying but still like it..
I'm planing to upgrade to the S2 skyrocket, but I would like to hear some feedback from those who are using it before pulling the triger...
Comments? good, bad? pros, cons? what do you like, or don't?
Thanks!!

I was going to get the Galaxy II in December(Samsungs top phone at the time) but opted for the Samsung Infuse and as far as I can tell it does everything the Galaxy does or did. Now, that being said, I dont know if the Galaxy they offer today is a step up from the one from Dec, but I love the phone I have and you can get is for next to nothing if you sign up for a 2 year deal(with ATT)
What ever you do get the Otter Box for it, I've dropped mine in a five gallon bucket of water had had zero damage, along with multiple other drops. When I take the phone out of the Otter Box it looks brand new.

I got one from work a few months ago (it replaced a Blackberry Bold).
Pros:
The screen is big and bright even though it lacks pixel density compared to other phones
Very light and thin
4g LTE is fast but ATT has limited coverage. HSPA+ is still very fast though
Phone interface is butter smooth
Cons:
Battery life is short...8 hours or so. It has to be charged every night
Feels a little cheap with all the plastic (makes it light weight however)
There are some new phones coming out soon so you may want to hold off. I think the Galaxy S3 is supposed to be released in May or June. If you need or want something now, the S2 SR is a top tier phone.

I have one as well. Had an iPhone before and wanted to be able to "Play" more with the phone so I went android. I've rooted it and done a little "customizing" of it.
I like the phone a lot. Screen is hard to see in the bright sun but other than that it's great.
Short Battery life as twollman mentioned. I use a program called JuiceDefender that did a lot for extending the battery.
If I had to make a choice again, I might go with the Razr Maxx, that new battery is great and SmartActions are kinda cool. Other than that, I'm real happy with it.
