I became a fan around 1986 or thereabouts and listened up until he renewed his most recent contract. Good deal for him but not his fans. Between vacation every other week and a 3 day schedule I could never find a live show. Not worth the effort anymore.

I am a hard core fan and I have libraries of his show, all the way back to channel 9 (when he SUCKED).

I cannot listen to him in the current form.

There is nothing better than billy west, studdering john, jackie, fred, gary puppet, KC

Those were the golden era of the show and it has NEVER been better. I still laugh my ass off at segments from back then.

Especially when Gilbert was sitting in on the news "OH HELLO DERRRRR" :)

I have tried to listen to him before to see what its all about. All I heard were commercial packed reruns of people who wernt howard.

Been a fan since the 80's. The show is not as good as the old days with Jackie and Billie west, but theirs not much else out their to listen too. I tried listening to 99.5 FM but I can't take the anti white retoric, and I tried listening to NPR, way to boring. can't stand classic rock anymore, and the new stuff on serius dosent cut it. As soon as something good come's along I'm outta here...

I listen mostly on my SIRI app on my phone.

But overall I am not sure anymore. He had tens of millions and was always number 1 in the most valued demographic in the markets he was broadcasting but now that he's on Sirius I am not sure.

Once AGT goes live with him as a judge, subscribers might go up, but he's probably not going to renew his contract and expand his mainstream exposure, esp if AGT has better ratings, which I think it will.

Short Siri before that contract period is up.

I have listened since DC101 days. I drove for a living and the show helped pass the miles away.

Don't like him at all or Sirus Radio. XM has better talk programs that don't focus on Howard's salami roll.

He's mailed it in ever since signing this second contract with Sirius. The heyday of Billy West and Jackie Martling was his best ever. Now he's just a shill for America's Got Talent.

Absolutely, it's sad.

I have to say though, heading out at 11am to the islands with just a laptop a drink or two and this video....... . http://youtu.be/Xij1cfhyj48 man, the whole boat was rolling in laughter..

Use to listen all of the time before he moved to siri, now I've lost track since I refuse to pay to listen to radio. I also use toi watch his show on the E channel.

Whatever happened to KC after the whole drug thing?

Thelast time he called in it sounded like he was still on drugs and mentally unstable

Talk about going from a hero to a zero.... KC poor guy.

Been listening since the 80's. I think the show is still good, just on a different level. I actually like the way the show has changed & matured, if you will. I don't care for Howard's three day a week schedule, and his continual absences as of late, HOWEVER, I believe the guy has more than earned the privilege.

He has put in his time, taken his lumps & beat all the odds & spit in the face of his many haters and emerged victorious! I don't care for his liberal political leanings, but, what sets him apart from the average lib, is that he is not a hypocrite. he believes in capitalism & every persons right to be all they can be, earn all they can earn, and, he doesn't just vote the party line. He votes for who he believes will do the best job for the country...unfortunately, he fell into the "Hope & Change" BS, but, so did many.

I never watch AGT, but, I will now because Howard will actually judge based on a persons talent, or lack there of. In a nut shell, Howard has grown &matured with the rest of us, he has changed with time & age, he hasn't tried to stay the same, I appreciate that. As long as he can still get me to laugh, I will tune in.

I download my music onto a flash drive and plug it into my new in-dash stereo/DVD player. When I stop and wifey goes in shopping I watch a great movie like Blazing Saddles or the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I'd rather listen to Complaints and Grievances and You're All Diseased until I know the dialog verbatim then listen to HS any day. Carlin ruled. But that's just me.

I have tried to listen to him but just never found him very funny. The one that sticks out in my head was when the Pan Am flight crashed in the Potomac and Stern called Pan Am reservations the next day and asked to buy a one way ticket from National to the 14th street bridge. That one was so wrong that you had to laugh.

In the DC area, Don and Mike were mutch better. There has still been no one to replace them for the evening drive.

Started listening around 1990 and still do. He's great. I've had zero interest in America's Got Talent, but now that he's on it I'm going to watch.

I used to listen when he was on regular radio. When he went to satellite, I stopped listening, and haven't heard him in years. I bought a new vehicle a month ago, and it came with a few months of sirius for free. I found Howard's channel, and could only make it for about twenty minutes before I had to turn it off. It's the same ol' schtick he was doing a dozen years ago.

There's much better radio out there.

I stopped listening a few years ago when he was on broadcast radio. He was turning into a whiny old man, complaining all the time. I felt he was one broadcast away from saying "oy vey, such a week I had"

I started listening in 84 when WYSP carried him. Loved the show then and still do. Say what you will about him............he is one of the best dam interviewers around.
