What do you think? Do we need a separate Forum for the gunsmiths?;?;?

Personally, I think I like the gun talk. The only problem is we need more of it and not 3 posts of the same double barrel gun at one time! Guys post a description in the subject line, not just "Hey want one of these?"

The reason things get posted here is because it's dockside chat, u can talk about anything. 2nd reason is this forum gets tons of traffic. End up with a forum for everything in the site will die.

gunsmiths? or gun owners? don't see a lot of posts about gunsmithing. As far as separate forum for gun related post? hell no! If you don't like them, don't read them.

Combine the boating forum and the sand bar, and post the gun threads there. Call the forum "Boats, Guns and Hoes".

Did this topic stem from my incognito title? I bet some gun haters clicked on it unsuspecting. Gotcha.

Exactly. I'm not a big gun person but I agree if gun talk were put in their own forum then there would be a lot less talk about guns. Look whats happened to sports talk with the sports forum.

There's a sports forum? Have they heard about Manning and Tebow? :trout:

So, you're standing around on the docks of you're local marina having some cold ones and what do you talk about. Not politics, religion, sports, boats, trucks, trailers, hot naked woman and several other subjects because they have place somewhere else (their own forum).

A separate gun related forum? How bout a DIY forum? Pretty soon, you can just eliminate dockside chat and all the people who don't want to bounce around from one forum to another in hopes there might be something of interest in one of them. Go ahead, dilute dockside chat further, it will keep me off the site and I'll probably be more productive around the house.

I have a suggestion, fix the classified section. Separate fishing items, tackle and reels from vehicles, clothing, misc, etc. Parts, electronics, etc already have it's own forum, but because of the way it's set up, you'll find a fish finder in a couple of places. A truck for sale might be found in the truck forum, not the classifieds.

Stop messing with dockside chat and go fix the forums that are broken.

I want to open a gun range for boats. The logistics may be tough but I will get a barge put targets up and let people shoot them from their boats for a fee. Should be fun!

We said it before, the traffic on the Sports board will be seasonal.
Football will have the most, then baseball, some basketball, hockey, college info by a few members, etc....

It will have it's highs and lows. It's at a low point right now and will be for a while.

That leaves me out. I've been a gun owner for a hell of a lot longer than a boater.
