HOW DOES IT WORK?
OWN: any traditional BlueChart, BlueChart g2 or BlueChart g2 Vision preprogrammed microSD/SD card
PURCHASE: any NEW BlueChart g2 or BlueChart g2 Vision preprogrammed microSD/SD card from an
authorized dealer after February 1, 2012
RECEIVE: Rebate check. Amount is dependant on the new card purchased and is outlined below:
Sample Scenario:
1) Customer owns a BlueChart g2 microSD/SD card (HXUS040R) and wants to upgrade to BlueChart g2 Vision
(VUS512L).
2) Customer goes to authorized dealer and purchases a new BlueChart g2 Vision microSD/SD card (VUS512L).
3) Customer receives BlueChart Trade-In Rebate mailer from dealer and fills out all required customer and purchase
information.
4) Customer includes the following items in the mailer and sends it postage paid to Garmin:
• Their ORIGINAL BlueChart g2 card (HXUS040R)
• A copy of their dated receipt for their NEW card purchase
• The UPC label from the packaging on the NEW card
5) Garmin verifies the new purchase and validates the original BlueChart g2 card (HXUS040R) and other required
items that were mailed to Garmin. If all criteria are met, a $125 check (for purchasing a new g2 Vision Large card)
is mailed to the customer.

Just a reminder that this is really for people who want to get a DIFFERENT chip then the one they have now.

If all you want to do is go from G2 Vision 2010 to 2012, but stay in the same region, you can do it online for a lot less.

I just upgraded my chip on the garmin website for $120 (list for this chip is $428). That was something like 78% off list.

Certainly better than a $125 rebate.
